About Padmesh Gupta

Born in a leap year, on February 29, 1964, Mr. Padmesh Gupta has always been a disciplined and hard-working man. He completed his schooling from St. Francis De Sales (S.F.S), Nagpur and obtained his Bachelors in Commerce from G. S. College, Nagpur, India. He started assisting his grandfather, late Shri Mabadeoprasadji Gupta in his business while still a teenager. This close association left a lasting impression on his mind and he has inherited a lot of the same work ethic and business acumen. In the year 1979, after the sudden demise of his grandfather, a 15 year old Padmesh Gupta took over the reins of the family business and has ably shouldered the responsibility since then. Gupta Group, which is worth Rs. 3,000 Cr today, has reached these heights owing to his vision and strong leadership but he is quick to point out that the credit goes to his team and all the people who have stood by him over the years.
